While most people assume ballrooms are erected simply for dancing, a certain Slytherin boy seemed to have decided othter wise, and choose to show so by simply waltzing into such a ballroom, quite unabashdly.
Roman Cassanela, sixth year Slytherin, slipped away from his friends, all who were to annoying anyway, and ducked down the corridor to his left, that had led him to this very ballroom. And while most of the school was heading down to the Great Hall for dinner, this boy was smirking at the wide-open room with the polished floors and high ceilings.
In his family's first house, they had a ballroom. With murals on the walls and a few sette's lining the walls. It had been one of Roman's favorite places to sneak off to and draw because the wide-open room was almost like being outside, minus the wind to mess up his hair and grass stains on his trousers.
Smirking, the 16-year old sat down in the dead middle of the dance floor and brushed his dark hair away from his face, only to let it fall in a cascade once more over his left eye. He reached into his robe pocket and pulled out a green apple, and a book on the History of Salazar Slytherin, that he hadn't bothered to check out from the library. Tossing his robe aside and sprawling out on his stomach on the cold floor, the Slytherin grinned to himself as he opened his book to the dog-eared page he'd last stopped on, then took a bite from his apple.
What a curious child indeed.

Entering somewhat boredly was that of Alexis Jetter. The girls eyes wandered the hall, for she was known to be the 'carer' of the hall. To check that the floor was clean and that it was in working order - if there was ever a ball. Don't get me wrong, Alexis didn't want this job; Her head of house decided that she would be the best for the job and frankly.
She found a pest.
Running a hand through her wavy hair the girls shoes clicked and echoed across the hall, looking at its splendor. But what was to happen to her features as her eyes fell upon a boy, sprawled out on his stomach on the cold hard floor of the ball room. Raising her eyebrows Alexis tilted her head.
Having stopped abruptly she began to speak, her somewhat more confident and silky much more so then other students. "I only wonder why you chose - of all places, the ball room to read a book. It is neither comfortable nor suitable in any way at all. Come to think of it, I find it amusing that a male such as yourself would read at all." Smirking slightly she continued, moving towards him casually. "Though at first sight I would judge you just by your..preferences."
Gesturing to his book she halted near to him. "But its obvious you're a slytherin. I have learned to recognise Slytherins from the rest.. Hopefully you'll prove different, for Mr. Malfoy seemed less then a gentlemen." Ah, Yes. Malfoy. How she despised the stuck - up little thingy.

Roman read on in silence for a few more moments, as if he didn't notice Alexis at all. But once he had decided upon a sutiable stopping point, he rolled smoothly onto his side and looked up at the girl irratibaly.
"I don't choose my reading places by whats comfortable. Besides, I'm sure you and I-" He paused her, to give the girl a all-to-obvious one over, then looked back at her eyes almost skeptically"-have much different ideas of what's suitable."
Taking another, rather loud bite from his apple, the Slytherin now slid into a sitting position, swinging his legs under his and setting the book on Salazar besides him, the apple atop the cover. Roman tipped his head back to look up at the girl who had so rudely interrupted his reading with a raised eyebrow, still almost skeptically.
"Well, I should hope you'd be able to place me in a house, considering I'm wearing my Slytherin tie and there's a nice obvious Slytherin crest on my robes love." He gestured to the robe tossed in a heap a step to the side before speaking once more.
"But honestly, it doesn't say much for the character of students from other houses if you assume none of them would read a book on the founder of another house. Because, where would you get in life if you never learn about anything outside of your own lifestyle? All in all, I'd suggest you don't try to decided a student's house by their reading material anymore." With a half-entertained grin, Roman reached to his side and picked up an apple, taking yet anohter bite, without dropping eye contact with the girl before him.

Alexis merely looked down at him superiorly with raised eyebrows. Her hands went to her slender hips, tilting her head at him. "Honestly.." And with that she found no interest at the boy in any way at all. He was annoying a self-centered. Whilst pulling on a curtain chord the girl said somewhat bitterly. "I'm assuming you know Mr. Conceited? Or as you may know him. Mr. Malfoy...Somehow he reminds me somewhat of yourself...And thats nothing to be proud of."
Rolling her eyes at him Alexis carried on her search for anything going wrong. Musing to herself all the while. Pathetic slytherins..if they met Logen they would think twice before talking to me in that vile way. Just because I'm in ravenclaw doesn't mean I won't slap those fools upside their big heads. Frowning and tugging somewhat angrilly on the curtain chord she scowled.
"To heavy."

"Merlin..where you born this hostile love?"
The boy questioned with a playfully raised eyebrow. Smirking, he finished off his apple, still watching her amusedly. The Slytherin definitly wasn't going to help her with the curtain, unless she found the need to crawl off her pedastool and ask, otherwise, he was going to stay right here, looking at her with a mockiing smile and not saying a word
{Sorry it bites luv! -still lost- But I will say, that I can't ever ignore you Loz, becuase you're one of the people that I get online to talk to Xp}

"I could ask the same for you yet I find that the fact you're this slimey interesting." Rolling her eyes she whipped out her wand and with one quick motion her curtain problem was fixed. Still slightly pissed with him for suggesting her hostile Alexis turned to him. "Where you born this arrogant or did you have to study to be this good? Hey, who'm I kidding you're most probably given a gift that only you can fulfill being this utterly snobbish."
Smirking at him the girl waited for a reply, folding her arms defiantely Alexis then ran her hand through her dark locks of hair for the hundreth time that day, for he was stressing her out. Not many people where capable of doing so to this calm and collected girl.
But Him?
He was surely succeeding in pissing her right off.

Roman chuckled softly, pocketing the small book on the Founder of his House before his gaze was drawn back up to Alexis.
"But I do wonder, how I'm being snobbish. Considering you are the one who came in her and started harrasing moi. All I've done is responded, and in not at all a rude manner." The Slytherin smirked coyly at the girl before he shrugged in a simple gesture of 'whatever.'
