Strolling in with a look of utter distaste on her face Arianna Leroy flopped down onto a bright velvet chair.
Her face looked worn and tired as if she'd needed a good cheering up, she hadn't been doing the greatest thing lately and she was sure people would talk if it got out.
Arianna took out her wand conjuring up a whole batch of Sugar Quills, with a sigh she sucked on the end of one.
Where is everyone? She mused thoughtfully, looking about the hufflepuff common room her bright eyes had suddenly lost their sparkle and her usually bubbly personailty was on the verge of an ove-boil.
Suddenly she began to hum, her voice echoing through the empty common room up to the dorms and through the secret door that had been left open .... again!
With a grunt Arianna heaved herself off of the chair and closed it with a slam watching the grains of wall sliding back together almost looking innocent if she didnt know any better.

A smothered dandelion lay sullenly in Desmund's palm as he surveyed it with deep thought. His expression seemed void of any contentment, his lithe figure outspread upon the dingy yellow loveseat.
A quick glance was casted at Arianna as he began thumbing through his book with disinterest. The apathetic boy stopped around page two hundred or so and began skimming the lines, and he then inserted the flower between the thin peices of musty paper. He shut the book, a frown playing upon his lips.
He groaned, and pitched the book on the ground, quite unhappy that there was nothing to do.

Arianna turned to him. The sugar quill still in her mouth, she was addicted as usual to the near 95% sugar. She tilted her head. "Hey." she said taking the quill out of her mouth for a moment before placing it back thoughtfully.
He was a cute guy nonetheless and Arianna was bored, so she plopped herself down on a seat opposite him. "Names Arianna Leroy." Her mouth broke into a wry smile while she surveyed him. "This place is so deathly boring I needn't be here just to lounge about." The hufflepuff girl frowned and swung her legs over the arm of her chair.
Arianna was a beautiful girl. Strangely beautiful in fact. Her honey-coloured locks fell around her deep eyes in disarray as she surveyed him.

Desmund glanced up at Arianna, somewhat startled by her introduction. Her face was a pleasant one, and he couldn't help bearing a smile. "My name is...D-Desmund." he retorted timidly with a russian accent.
He sat up, fingers combing through his hair. He identified a flower petal in the neatly kept tresses, and he immediately veiled it in a fist, somewhat ill at ease. "I don't know what they expect us to do around here. They're asking for mischief." the boy added, violet eyes envying Arianna's equisiteness.

Arianna smiled, lightening her features up considerably. "Indeed, Unlike others I find that mischeif is the only cure for unprofitable boredom." Arianna tilted her head at the boy, standing up and holding out a hand for him. Most obvious to shake or something of the sort.
Arianna was musing to herself about this mysterious boy. He couldn't be that bad if he's a hufflepuff. He's cute nonetheless. I wonder what his origin is..Russian? Bulgarian? "I was wondering." she said as she snapped out of her little musing world. "If I could know where you originate from. For you seem less of an united kingdom sort of person."

After some hesitation, Desmund took her hand softly, not exactly knowing what to do next, due to his social retardness. He winced, and pulled it away slowly, giving sort of an apologetic shrug. "I'm from Dmitrov, in Russia. I've never been in the...United Kingdom until Hogwarts."
He rubbed the back of his neck, sort've contemplating upon what to say next. "I haven't exactly met anyone here yet. Besides you. I'm not the chatty type, you see."

Analee smiled lightly at him, finding him sweet more then anything else. "Well. It's your lucky day. You get to be escorted around by me...The nicest of the Hufflepuffs." she said with a playful wink. "Nevermind if you're not the chatty type. I'll be jabbering away anyhoo." she tilted her head, still standing before him.
"Are you nervous?" she asked the male before her. Arianna had been wondering this- when she musing the other eight hundred things- was he one of those really shy and easily-swayed sort of guys?

Desmund winced, giving an uneasy nod with a silly smile. He blew a devilish thread of hair from his visage, and crossed his arms over his gray button-up. "So, where are we off to, uh, Arianna?" he said after a brief awkward silence as he leaned over to pick up his book.
The small, withered dandelion slipped through the pages unto the floor, and Desmund quickly held the book to his chest, hoping Arianna didn't notice.

Arianna didn't notice fore the girl was wondering where she would be taking him. "How about the gardens, The forest and then...A place of your choice?" She hadn't really given the boy any choice of where to go for the fact she loved the gardens. But the forest was mildly creepy-looking to her.
That was Analee's hideout. Her's was the garden and the room of requirement. "Room of requirement!" she said suddenly, a smile alight on her features. "What do'ya think? Sound good enough?" She pulled him off of his chair by the hand and linked arms with him.
Yep. That was Arianna alright. Didn't care for awkwardness this girl.

"I-uh-Sure-" he began, but was cut off by her eagerness. The garden was by far his favorite, and the forest was a nice place for him to nap in as an animagus, but he'd never ventured into the room of requirement, and he was curious. Sounded like fun.

Well best be off if we're going to the gardens...It's most beautiful out their at this time of day, wait till you see the secret silver rose bush that I planted my first year here...I think Dumbledore knows but...Still not too sure." Arianna tilted her head at him. "You sure you want to be seen around the school with a girl such as myself?" Arianna was referring to her looks.
Hey. A girl could be nice and not think she was remotely gorgeous...By day that is. In school, Arianna was nice, gentle and fun. But at night she was evil, adventurous and every little bit more gorgeous...and boy does she know it at night.

Desmund shrugged, bewildered by such a question. "I don't mind. You seem harmless." he retorted. "Besides, I've never seen a silver rose bush." he added, with a notable amount of enthusiasm in his voice.
The poor, socially retarded boy switched his attention over to his book. He ran his fingers gently over the cold, leather cover and proceeded to open it. The thin pages smelled foul, like all old books that have been left sitting for quite a while would. He eventually made it to the page that he had attempted to bookmark with the flower, and bent the corner. (Muaha. Pointlessness)

Arianna chuckled and shrugged. "Was just wondering." and with that she tugged on his arm and began to walk out of the common room. Looking back at him she said. "Wait...You like flowers? Whoa...You're not like most of the guys here." She frowned the added. "Thats a good thing by the way, the boys here are only after one thing."
With those...Uh...Welcoming words she began to walk out of the common room, beckoning him to join her.
